These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aarogya Vault website (aarogyavault.live), mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Aarogya Vault ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Aarogya Vault is a healthcare document management platform that allows users to securely store, organize, and understand medical records through cloud storage, OCR text extraction, and AI-generated summaries. The Service is currently in early development (MVP stage).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must sign in using Google Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the healthcare documents and other content you upload ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze that content solely to provide the Service, including OCR extraction and AI summary generation.

You represent that you have the right to upload User Content and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

5. Medical Disclaimer

Aarogya Vault is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-generated summaries and OCR-extracted text are provided for informational and organizational purposes only. They may contain errors and should not be relied upon for medical decisions.

Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment. In case of a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content you do not have the right to share
• Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful content

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Aarogya Vault and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand elements.

8. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. As an early-stage product, features may change, and downtime may occur.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aarogya Vault and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aarogya Vault from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
